If you are looking for high school level courses, you can take them online with Northern Star Online. Study at times convenient to you, anywhere you have internet access.
Founded in 2003 with a handful of courses, we currently provide more than 50 State-approved courses, all aligned to Minnesota State Standards. Each year more than 6,000 Minnesota high school students take over 9,000 courses from us. Courses are taught by licensed public school teachers working in our member school districts, so you get access to experienced, professional teachers.
Other helpful information:
- If you’re a current Minnesota public school student and take a course as part of your regular school day, funding is provided for the cost of the course.
- Most core courses are approved for NCAA Eligibility.
- Most of our courses are open enrollment, so you can sign up and start at any time!
- If you’re looking to make up credits or simply want to study during the summer, most of our courses run then as well. Funding is a bit different, so check the funding page for more information if you’re looking for a summer course.
