Full-Time Courses at NSO

You can take all of your courses at NSO in any given term with permission from your school. We offer rolling enrollment, so you can start taking courses with NSO whenever you need to during the school year.

If you are interested in taking a full-time course load at NSO, start by speaking to your school counselor about your options.

How full-time courses work at NSO:

Stay enrolled at your school

While taking a full course load at NSO, you stay connected to your school. This allows you to keep working toward your school’s graduation requirements, participate in your school’s extracurricular activities and events, continue receiving support and resources through your school, and return to your school as a full-time student when it works for you.

Approve your plan and request your courses with your school

To take a full-time course load at NSO, you must have approval from your school. Meet with your school counselor to determine the courses and credit types to meet your school’s requirements while taking your courses NSO.

Get started in your online courses at NSO

Taking online courses full-time at NSO offers a lot of flexibility and independence, but there is always someone here to support you! You will start by attending a required Welcome Session to help you feel prepared and we will continue to support you throughout your time at NSO.

As you get started, check out the guides for full-time students to help you be successful in your online course. Learn more about planning your schedule, student expectations and support, and online learning tips.
